Sasturday, February 10, 2024

Friday Night Sledding Party (Shh! Not for the kids!) | 6:00-8:00 p.m.

This event is extremely popular and we’re bringing it back for 2024! Kick off WinterFest weekend with an adults-only sledding party on the Adams Street sledding hill at City Hall – we’ll provide the sleds! Your ticket includes a beer from Blaze Brewing Co. at their on-site bar. Food and non-alcoholic beverage options will also be available.

Last call will be at 7:30, so don’t be late!

Post-Sledding Party Pub Crawl – Food & Drink Specials throughout Downtown!

Classic Rock Orchestra at City Theater | 7:30 p.m.

Sledding not your thing? Take in a rockin’ show at City Theater instead!

Featuring a six piece rock band including two dynamic lead singers, Susie Pepper and Johnny Martinez, Classic Rock Orchestra brings you unforgettable hits by Journey, Pat Benatar, Boston, Heart, Kansas, Stevie Nicks, The Electric Light Orchestra and many more. Classic Rock takes you back to the concert arena by plucking some of the greatest songs from your album collection and presenting them in all their anthemic glory!

Winter Fun Time | 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

This is the true “heart” of WinterFest! Come on out for a FREE day of fun and snow for families in the center of downtown!

Sledding begins on Adam Street at 10:00 a.m.! Sleds provided! Thanks to New Life Church and their amazing group of volunteers, sledding is free, with no limit to how many times you can slide down. If you have smaller children, look for the children’s hill!

  • Pony Rides from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Housing Authority parking lot.

• Pizza POLARpalooza! We know you’re going to work up an appetite with all that sledding, so WinterFest attendees are invited to enjoy some delicious free pizza thanks to generous donations from participating area restaurants! Winners of our “Best Of” judging competition will be announced on the Main Stage at 12:30 p.m.
• Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Yummy Snacks and Hot Chocolate will also be available courtesy of New Life Church.

• Giveaways & Free Raffle!
  • Did you know Winterfest hosts a FREE raffle every year? Everyone attending can enter. Stay tuned for updates on prizes and raffle drawing times.

PARKING INFORMATION

• Public Parking Lots and Parking Garage: Find Parking near WinterFest (premiumparking.com)
• On-Street Parking: Parking on any street in Biddeford is free. Make sure to read all posted signage before parking as many streets in the downtown have two or four-hour time limits. Time limits are doubled for all users who have a disability plaque.
• Please note that that there will be several added disabled parking spots designated on Jefferson Street and Main Street on Sat., Feb. 10th.

Comedian Juston McKinney at City Theater | 5:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

A former Biddeford native (Cleaves Street) and City Theater favorite, Comedian Juston McKinney returns with lots of new material.  He has multiple appearances on the Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien, both ½ hour and 1-hour specials on Comedy Central.  He also has two one-hour specials you can currently watch on Amazon Prime.  Throw in a couple of performances at the TD Garden for Comics Come Home with Denis Leary, a Showtime Special with Rob Gronkowski and his newest special On the Bright Side on his YouTube Channel. See this former Maine Deputy Sheriff-turned-comedian live at the City Theater, a WinterFest tradition for the past 11 years!

Ice Skating at West Brook Skating Rink | 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
